Poetic Sobriety
So I've been in for a week and sober.Out to Moomia tonight where I can at least get a false hookah induced high.Oh and my blog has lost my personality and become infused with too many party photos.Time to put the pieces of my mind back in.I'm not just a party girl. I'm a student, veterinary assistant && poet(amongst other things).Leading to..come see me at the Nuyorican Poet Cafe next Friday(June 19th).After the slam poetry they have an open mic. I guess my poetic style is fitting with slam but I'm not ready to be judged.I need a little practice on stage first <3 see you there?

memorial day and the day after (sway + moomia)
Im too lazy to write..yes again..Melo was great at sway And i have a few videos i may upload eventually.Moomia was a great experience considering my hookah addiction.We got to smoke right off the bar,how fantastic is that?? haha <3

Europa && Sway memorial day
Stopped by Brookylyn for Concrete Jungles memorial day party.Was a bit of scuffling going on.Not too smart considering the proximity of the police (right next door). Santos may 19th

The show was pretty great made better by my company.Sean Paul was worth waiting until almost 4 am for I suppose.
Imperial May 16
Went to Imperial for the Roxy cottontail b-day shindig.Was cute.Cotton candy machine was an adorable touch and all the women were dressed in a whimsical way that I just love.The fashionable liberties taken with nightlife are one its most alluring aspects.For me at least.

Eric Sosa + ALIEN party

Finally had a chance to see Eric Sosa perform.Sadly I arrived late (as usual).Had to go from queens to canal to the heights to bk..etc.The performance was at Public Assembly which is an awesome place for live music.I walked in as he was delivering an impromptu freestyle at the edge of the stage.He left me awe struck.I cant wait to hear more and I definitely suggest you all hit up his next show.Oh and his manager Danielle is the most amazing chica ever <3 much love to both of them.(His songs are on the blogs playlist,Check them out)

Spent a moment in Williamsburg at a bar where my friend was celebrating his impending birthday (27! eek) && then headed over to Happy Endings.Lovely night as usual.

Mothers Day && Manic Monday
So..I hate mothers day with the fervor most hate Valentines day.Went to Sway for Smith && Morrosey night with Callender.Soon as I walked in he hands me a shot of Jameson,then comes a mystery shot,Juice shot,PB&&J shot(Yummm) && then I lost track.I didnt arrive home until some ungodly hour the next day && I swear it was a 24 hr hangover.Was worth it though I guess?? You only live once<3

Then another night cap at Sway on monday with Graff artist/Clothing designer Martin ;) Wandered the city a bit eating bagels && him doing his graffiti thang.

Graffiti.Half pipes.Hipsters && 40's
Didn't know what to expect but Martin is a graff head so figured it'd be interesting.There's more to our generation then music.So much talent in so many different areas.Met a lot of female taggers (17 years old at that!)so it was eye opening.Didn't catch any other women at the half pipe though :( Everyone was friendly.It was just an awesome night of skating and tagging for all.
This guy let me borrow his deck even though I haven't skated in 2 yrs :x fail.lol
